Do I have to have the Electronic Management Kit?
Yes, you have to have the Electronic Management Kit. The FlyBoards are no longer sold with out the Electronic Management Kit. The main reason for the necessity of the Electronic Management Kit is so that you have a kill switch on the FlyBoard. If you do not have the Electronic Management Kit you must use two people, one on the jet ski and one on the FlyBoard. The person on the jet ski would have to operate the throttle while the other rides the FlyBoard. With the Electronic Management Kit, the person riding the FlyBoard can operate the throttle without the help of a second person. The second person should still be on the jet ski for safety. Once the FlyBoarder learns to fly, he or she will have much better control and stability if he or she has the throttle.
