Get away from normal life as it is and put your mind in a different place filled with Mother Nature and peace. Try Yoga and Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga (SUP Yoga).
Our 1.5 hour class will begin with an introduction to Paddleboarding if necessary, previous paddleboard or Yoga experience not required! Our practice and postures are adapted to your level of confidence both on the board and with yoga. We will enjoy a beautiful paddle out to an area where we anchor each paddleboard in calm shallow water. During our paddle out to and back from the shallow SUP Yoga area, we will see wildlife like birds, fish, rays, sea turtles, Manatee, Dolphin, invertebrates, sea grass, eagles, hawks, loons, ducks.
Our Kripalu yoga practice begins seated on the board where we will unite our breath with movements that calm the mind and encourage inward focus. During our class we will go through a series of postures that promote core balance, physical strength, mental focus and unity within our environment. We will also have an opportunity to play with positions that are challenging and fun! Our practice will end with a deep relaxation on the board where we experience the magical harmony of beautiful waters and spiritual balance.
