Wildlife in The Florida Keys at Florida Keys Kiteboarding and Stand Up Paddleboarding.

The wildlife in The Florida Keys can be viewed in may ways here at Florida Keys Kiteboarding and Stand Up Paddleboarding. Stand Up Paddleboarding is one of the best ways to see nature but certainly not the only way. Get a birds eye view while kiteboarding during a high jump, go on an Eco Tour, take a kayak for a spin, wade in the shallow waters, snorkel in the calm waters, or simply sit back and relax while wildlife passes by.

We see Dolphin, Turtles, Manatee, Iguanas, Eagle Rays, Southern Rays, Sea Urchins, Crabs, Shrimp, Butterflies, Bugs, Lobster, Bald Eagles, Cormorants, Pelicans, King Fishers, Cow Fish, Trigger Fish, Buzzards, Sea Gulls, migrating birds, Ospreys, Falcons, and the list goes on and on!

Baby Blue Crab

There are many types of crabs in The Florida Keys, they are all over, on land, in the trees, and underwater. All different shapes, sizes, and colors. From dull brown to unimaginable colors.

Once in a lifetime Dolphin encounter.!

This Dolphin was fishing! We watched it chase and catch a Permit up close to the dock right in front of us!

Dolphin can be seen surprisingly close to shore as can be seen in this photo. We see them right next to our kiteboarding sand bar area quite often.

Looking for attention like a little dog!

Waiting patiently for a handout.

Manatee are an endangered species so don’t feed, water, or touch them. This cute little guy has been hanging around the kiteboarding shop for weeks as if he was looking for hand outs. He has given many of our customers a first time view of a Manatee. He normally greets us at the dock when we get back at the end of the day from a kiteboarding lesson.

They flower after it rains!

Rain Lilies at Florida Keys Kiteboarding and Stand Up Paddleboarding

Rain Lilies flower after it rains. We tried watering our Rain Lilies by our dock to get them to flower but it does not work! Somehow they know.
