Who can kiteboard? Everybody can kiteboard! People who are Young, old, and in between can learn. Kiteboarding is a sport that takes time, patients, and practice to learn. Some people learn fast and some people take longer than others to learn the sport of kiteboarding. Any stage you are at in your kiteboarding learning process is fun and the learning is never ending. Once you learn how to fly the kite, there are board skills to learn, once you learn to ride the board there is learning to stay up wind, and turn or transition, and add style, and jump, and ride unhooked, and the list is endless. Every time you go kiteboarding, you will learn something new. Florida Keys Kiteboarding has taught people from age 8 to age 82 and is looking forward to teaching younger and older people how to kiteboard. Generally people take a couple of lessons and then go out and practice with other kiteboarders. Some people come back for more lessons or just to ride with us to have the comfort of an instructor there.
