I skateboarded to class all through college but I never owned a Sector 9, I heard how nice they were to ride. When I did in fact ride a Sector 9 longboard I was really surprised at how smooth, and fast the ride was compared to my old board . In general, a longboard is used for cruising longer distances or downhill. One thing I noticed is that the Sector 9 longboard did not make my feet feel like they were going to vibrate off.
